About Damn Good Websites
Brody BestluckFounder, builder & the person you’ll work with
Hi, I’m Brody. I run an owner-led digital studio in Hinton, Alberta, building professional websites and useful tools for people doing real work.
The short version
I started in tech support in 2012, then spent years in industry chasing the safer, more familiar path.
That experience turned out to be useful. I saw how often good operators were held back by disconnected systems, awkward software, and processes that had been duct-taped together just well enough to get by, but never improved.
Damn Good Websites began when my wife asked me to build her a website. One project led to another. Over time, the work expanded from websites into booking flows, ecommerce, automations, follow-up systems, internal tools, and the practical software that ties it all together.
Founder, builder and hands-on problem-solver
Today, I combine technical knowledge with hands-on experience from the field to help small businesses make smarter, more confident decisions about technology.
The goal is not to sell the biggest build. It is to understand what is slowing the business down and create the simplest solution that genuinely improves the way the work gets done. That might mean a better website, connecting tools the team already uses, or building something custom. Whatever the answer, it should make the business easier to run, not give people another system to fight with.
The technology does not need to look impressive. It needs to make the day work better.
What it feels like to work together
You should not need technical vocabulary to explain what is going wrong.
New software is not automatically better. The build has to justify its cost and complexity.
Your domain, content, data, and business accounts should stay connected to your business.
Automation handles repetition. People stay involved when context, risk, or care matters.
Based in Hinton, built to travel
We are proud to help businesses in Hinton, Yellowhead County, and across Alberta.
Most projects can also be delivered anywhere in Canada through a simple remote process. The important part is not the distance. It is being able to understand the business, communicate clearly, and build something the team will actually use.
